I'm not quite sure exactly what you are talking about when you say: "I
feel that much of what I read here is not in the true spirit of Scouting
as set out by BP."
I personally find this group to be in the fine tradition of the campfire
"bull" session (meant in the best possible way, folks. ;-) ), with some
very opinionated discussions, but also some great comraderie, especially
since few if any of us have ever met in person.
I too am proud to say I am a member of the Scouts-L list.
