Re: Belt Loops

Budgeting for the belt loops has never been an issue with our group. If
they earn it we award it. For Bears we're only looking at a Bear Badge
and some arrow points. The beltloops aren't that much, though we haven't
had an entire den earn all of them at once, that seems inconceivable to
me. Few earn their pins or letters. We have no "den supply" accounts.
We're a small group. To be honest, I pay for all my boys crafts. I pay
for their beads that I do for attendance. I pay for any patches that I
want to give them that the Pack isn't furnishing. As to Pack meetings,
each den brings snacks and drinks, it doesn't come from the Pack
account. It won't until we are financially in better shape. But any and
all awards we give come out of the Pack monies. We also use the Pack
monies for the Blue and Gold and Pinewood Derby. Reading about all this
account stuff has kind of surprised me. We just don't do that. I'd like
to see how it's even accomplished if anyone would like to reply.
