Golly I hope that Subject wasn't vague :)
I'd like to find a small group of boys 8-9 years old that my Den could
exchange letters with from another country. We have an extra Academics
program in Scouts and one of the books is on Heritages and learning about
families from other countries, their customs, traditions, etc. I think
it would be great if I could find a group of boys in the same age group
to exchange letters with. Mine are Bears, 3rd Grade, 8-9 years old. I
have 8 Boys. I have had a penpal myself for 20 years and am still
learning things.
Also, if anyone has any incite into the Academics Program I could sure
use some help. I've read every piece of literature, all the booklets,
the Leader Guide and talked in the classes at two PowWows and still am
unclear as to what "requirements" my boys should meet to get their
Academics Belt Loops. The sports are fairly cut and dry, but academics
is so vague!
Thanks for any input.
