There's another one I would like added that will seem "strange" to some, but
allow me to explain.
When you accidentally send a message to the group that was either
inappropriate or meant for an individual, please don't send a second message
apologizing for your mistake.
Now how many thing that's strange? <g>
We all know that people ocassionally make mistakes and regret what they did.
We understand that... I hope. By sending an apology to the group, you have
taken a situation that should have generated no list mail and turned into
one that eats up 4% of this list's daily allotment.
Please fight the urge to publicly apologize. We know you're sorry for
your mistake and no apology is necessary. Conversely, please don't jump on
someone - especially on this list - who makes such a mistake.
