I heard on the news yesterday that the FBI was getting ready to make an
arrest of an individual in the New York City area that supposedly sent this
out over AOL. You might want to contact your local authorities to assist.
Maybe someone in the US could forward Sergio Laurenti's posting to local
authorities to be used as more evidence against the "sick individual".

Dear friends in the Scouts-L
Yesterday I had my first taste of misuse of lists in the Internet
and was difficult to swallow. I received an e-mail letter suggesting
buying or trading child pornographic material and other repugnant
ideas. The letter stated "this offer goes to you as your name appears
in a list connected to this issue."
In fact, the only lists in which my name appears -at least to the
best of my knowledge- are Scouting related.
The letter originates in AOL and provides a contact address in the
USA. I wish to know whether other members of this list have received
this, and if so I invite you to write me in private to discuss the
best way on dealing with this.
