Wal-Mart/Sam's Club

I guess I'm lucky. Sam's Club in Fountain Valley, CA, has been very
helpful to our Pack. While the store itself can only provide a $25
discount on purchases, they allow me to use my personal card and write
Pack checks. In addition, they stated that their national headquarters
provides so much money each month for charities. All you need to do is
submit a letter to their national headquarters at least two full months
prior to your event so they have time to review ALL requests and
determine which ones to fund.

Our Pack has a major fundraiser each spring selling hamburgers, chips,
sodas to the tune of $1,500 profit. Sam's Club has graciously provided
staff to pull the food from their shelfs, store it in their
refrigerators, and provide a daily tally. All I did each evening was
walk in the check and load my car up to the brim. While it wasn't money
they provided, their assistance saved myself and my friend's back and
many hours of work loading and unloading. 40+ cases of soda, 900+
frozen hamburger patties, etc., gets a little heavy after a while.

Even still, you can bet this year I'm submitting a letter to national to
get a larger cash donation.
