Dear Billy:
Congratulations! You have worked long and hard, but it has been worth
it. However, your challenges are only beginning. You have
demonstrated you have the knowledge and ability to lead; that is to
help your fellow scouts (and later in life, others, in any endeavor) on
their trail of Scouting achievement.
You have shown you can lead, and now you must do so. But it's not as
hard as it sounds, and can be a lot of fun along the way. Like members
of the OA, Eagle Scouts are expected to set an example for others to
follow. Set a good one!
Again, my 2 Eagle sons and I wish to you our hearty congratulations!
