This camping survey may actually be reinventing the wheel, especially at
the district level.
>
> My first question to you is actually, why are you putting this together?
> For your benefit or the benefit of your troops, simply out of curiosity?
>
> The reason is this: such a list may already exist in your council.
> Check with your Order of the Arrow chapter chief and ask him if the OA
> Lodge publishes a "where to go camping" book, r something like that.
> Most lodges do. It is exactly what your surveys cover--where troops go
> campping, favorite places to camp, costs, etc. My lodge here in Denver
> does one--its about 200 pages of stuff.
>
> If this doesn't exist in your lodge, maybe your project would be of
> interest to the local chapter to get one goin.
