Dennis,
In our Pack, in the past, siblings have been invited to join in on all
Tiger outings. With the change to dens, perhaps one solution would be to
invite siblings, especially if there is at least one family with an older
sibling who would not mind helping to keep the younger ones busy with
coloring, etc during non-outing meetings. This would need to be done in
sight of the other parents, maintaining 2 deep leadership, and preferably
would be done with the help of a parent who was not needed as partner at the
time. Another idea is to have the dens meet to brainstorm solutions. I am
a great believer in brainstorming as the way to find solutions to group
problems - it really allows people to be creative, and in my experience has
worked well as a concensus builder as well.
