Tiger Cub Ideas

(no name) ((no email))
Wed, 2 Oct 1996 09:43:53 PDT

Just finished a year of Tiger cubs who have been active in our Pack for the
past six years or so. By the way, they do take part in all Pack activities
including dues, fundraisers, pinewood derby, Pack meetings, etc.

Our monthly visits included:

1. Model train station where we saw the train yard, learned about the trains,
rode the trains, had snack (a model train group got together with the City to
lease some rustic park land for $1 a year for a place to run their model
trains [ones you can sit on] and in return the group provides free train rides
one weekend a month)
2. Fire station
3. Local small pizza parlor (Tigers received a tour and got to make their own
pizza!)
4. Leatherwork (they love those stamps and hammers -- doesn't matter if it
looks like anything when it is done)
5. Decorated Christmas cookies (again, doesn't matter if it looks like
anything when it is done)
6. can't remember (obviously not much fun)

Tigers are easy because they are so young.

Good Luck,
