TROOP DUES

There seem to be many responces to the questions on dues. So here
is my 2 cents worth.
Troop dues should be payed each meeting by the scout. The reasons
for this is that dues are to help defray the cost of operating the
troop activities. They are not ment to be payed by check ( which most
scouts do not have ) each year ( although that makes budjeting for the
troop easer ). they are ment to teach the scout to budjet his money
and also to teach the scout responsibility by having the scout rember
to pay dues on a regular basis.
