Just to add a comment to the following:
While hiking some of the back country trails at Yellowstone last summer,
we came upon a "young" lady weariing an OLDER scout shirt.
It had a 1953 Jambo patch, and a OA Lodge flap from LOON lodge
(364 - very limited) and eagle scout patch and red/white
community strip from Platsburg NY. I had to ask about the
shirt. She said that it was her Grand Fathers shirt!!!
She was not in trouble, but seeing an OLD scout shirt in
the back woods of Yellowstone kind of caught my eye.
She had grown up hiking the Adironaks with her grand father.
