Re: Eagle Requireds (Merit Badges)

Now I could be mis-remembering, but...

There was a period when the swimming (I believe) merit badge was required
to recieve First Class. The current rank requirements have been in place
(except for the Family Life MB) since 1990. During the years following the
change, when there could still be some Eagle candidates, your did need to
check to insure thatthe badge was earned at a proper time (prior to award
of First Class). I'm fairly certain that there should be very few, if any,
boys that would fall into that catagory.
