Cub Scout Sports & Academic Pins

In our pack, red patch vests are quite popular. The boys put the patches
they earn on them. They also put their pins on them. The sports & academic
pins, as well as summertime award pin. Is there literature out there that
says they cannot put them there? I know that there is or was literature
saying that they shouldn't wear their red vests with their uniforms. That
was something that we never really enforced. The boys liked being all
dressed up with those red vests on to display their history. I'm hoping
that if it hasn't changed yet, it soon will.
