Re: Wood Badge Ticket help!

As I completed the field portion of Wood Badge, we were asked not to
discuss the discovery activities so they would kepp their impact. That
seams reasonable. I can understand not talking about the patrol efforts
which would be almost trivial if the patrol brought specific unusual
supplies.

I feel free to talk about the fact that Wood Badge is a powerful life event
for me and deeply taught me the strength of patrol that is willing to work
together. I realized that "we all have something to offer" are much more
than just words. I think potential paticipants need to know they will be
Scouts in an Patrol and Troop 1. They will learn the traits of leadership
by leading <<and following>>. For many, it is the <<following>> that will
be a challange. That means they don't control everything and the have to
trust the program and fellow Scouts.

I had fun, I laughed, I cried, I meditated, I was filled and re-filled with
deep Scout Spirit. Go to Woodbadge and open yourself for the experience.
It is not a "training" it is an EXPERIENCE!
