And some spectacular mountains, gorgeous lakes, beautiful country and
most of all some warm, caring, hospitable, and generous folks. Our
Scouts were hosted by New Zealanders as part of the host family program at
the XVI World Jamboree in Australia, 1987-88, and they could not say
enough good things about their New Zealand experiences. Our collective
thanks to you all for for making their stay wonderful and for creating
lifelong memories for them. You're the best!
One of our post advisors is a physician and professor of medicine at the
University of Colorado, and will be doing a sabbatical in
Christchurch in early 1997. He has been there before and is very much
looking forward to this trip.
Good Scouting!
