I, too, have found it almost impossible to coordinate a troop's schedule
with other activities - it's worse when your dealing with boys in
highschool. You can only try to avoid confilicts with major events.
I have always told the boys that life is full of choices and that they have
to decide how to spend their time (they will anyway) between scouts and the
other activities as well as school work. YiS
