I've always found it interesting that people complain about 20-30
postings being a lot. Despite a max of 50 postings per day, scouts-l
does NOT provide the most amount of traffic I receive of the 8 or so
listservs I receive, despite having by far the most amount of
subscribers. My academic conferences generate far more traffic per day
than this one.
I don't see a problem with expanding the limit per day for the list. I
suspect that there are very, very few of subscribers (myself included)
who read every piece of mail, unless they completely ignore the subject
line. That's what its there for, in part--to help the reader edit the
things that probably won't pertain to him/her.
