I agree too. I went twice, once as part of a two-weekend course and once
as part of a week-long course. The first time, with one weekend in
between off, I took my troop through the Ape Caves (a Mt. St. Helens lava
tube). Midway through the tube, I sprained my ankle so badly I was rushed
to the hospital after hobbling the .75 miles over the rubble in the cave.
There was no way I was going to be able to finish the course in tons of
pain and a nice cast.

A year later I was back and started over. They almost didn't let me
continue. I'm glad they did. It did give me the rare opportunity to view
both methods from a participant's point of view. Don't want to offer any
spoilers. As I understand the purpose and method of Woodbadge, I believe
the uninterrupted week is better. YMMV.
