You can find the Oath of Leadership in one of several places:

* in the older Patrol Leaders' Handbooks

* in the older Scoutmaster Handbooks

* within the materials provided to you during Wood Badge (I know, you haven't
been there YET...but I'm sure that you can "use your resources" *heheheheee*)

* from the archives of Scouts-L (we talked about this last in the winter of
1994).
I'll look around and see what I can find on this end....but I'm sure that
the last line
says "....for the betterment of my (Patrol and) Troop and for the World
Brotherhood of Scouting" and the first part starts out with "On my honor, I
will do my best in the
role of (Senior) Patrol Leader...." but I can't remember the rest.

The following is for my wife..there's no sense in resending an additional note
since she also reads this list. Cover your eyes...it gets a little mushy:

(Jessi, if you're interested in looking, in the hallway bookshelf...the one
with the
Legos on it and the one that Kelly likes to perch from while waiting for
people to get
out of the bathroom....on the second shelf near the center are the Patrol
Leadership
handbooks....if you don't mind looking, it's either in the 1972 or 1976
edition.
There's a index in the back. The same thing can be found, although it'll
take a little
more time, in the older Scoutmasters' Handbooks on that same shelf. See...I
told ya
that I should have brought more stuff over here! *heheheehee* Thanks! *kiss*)

Hopefully, between Jessi's and my looking, we'll find something for you!
(oops, you can move your hands from your eyes now!)

Hope that helps!
