Bruce Cobern says it could mean "at least" 3 overnighters. How about
"exactly" 3 overnighters -- no more, no less. As someone with a lot of
experience at editing I would say that's another possibility. The solution
to "microinterpretation," I believe, is precision in chosing the right
words.
