Unfortunately, 2 Scouts were caught by museum guards 2 or 3 years ago
trying to take souvineers from exhibits. They were even in uniform. I
was really upset to hear about this. There was a letter issued to Scout
Executives in the area near Dayton threatening to ban Scouts from the
museum if more of this happened. We need to watch our units to prevent
this type of thing from happening. Since then, the museum has been very
nervous about Scout groups.
