I am sure that everyone on the list can say that "much of the stuff on this
list does not interest me," but for each person it is different "stuff".

I am not in the United States so messages on OA, Eagle, etc. do not
catch much of my interest, on the other hand due to the number of people
responding to messages posted about these and other topics it seems to
me that there are a large number of people interested in these topics
(how many people send messages about what things are called in different
places?).

The way I look at the list is that we are all part of the world-wide
family of scouting having a continual discussion, and of course the
entire family is not interested in everything that everyone has to say
on all topics. Just delete those messages you do not want to read,
or even (as I do) start reading each one and then delete the ones you
do not want to read half way through. The reason that I end up doing
this is that the topics seem to change even though the subject headers
do not, and every once in a while there is something very useful said
where I would not normally look.
