Well, I believe it was the "going all out" to give the rest of you poor
souls a unique Philmont experience!
There was certainly no need to give Texas, Kansas, or IL folks any more of
those ordinary experiences! We get our yearly dose of adrenaline on a
regular basis.
By the way, "Kansas" means "people of the south wind" - funny how all our
trees lean to the north! (if they haven't been given a crew cut by a tornado!)
