Oaten Doaten Little Boaten, Itten Ditten Little Kitten, Ishy Dishy =

WHATTATIN CHEW!!!

=09
Thanks for the flashback to my childhood days in Troop 173, Etna, PA! =
The spelling is subjective and the auto-spell-checker on my computer =
thinks I've started speaking some other language. This song was very =
popular in my troop when I was growing up because it became somewhat of =
a rite-of-passage for the new kids since it took them several campouts =
before they could master it. Each line is said as fast and as loud as =
possible by the leader and the audience is expected to repeat it all =
with the same speed. Very tough, but the older scouts love it! The last =
line everyone can get and it comes as a relief to those who are still =
learning it. It is shouted as loud as possible! By the way, shouting =
"God Bless You!" at the end is optional! :)

Yours in Scouting,
Craig McGarrah
