I can only speak on the Wolf topic on this because we are just starting Bear
and 3rd grade.
Has anyone else noticed that a good bit of what is in the Wolf book is also
covered in 2nd grade. I do not think this is a coincidence. I used this as
leverage with my parents who were slow in working on advancements with their
son.
Whether it was reviewing homework or just asking for additional work on a
subject, which was usually the case, I would then tell my son he just
completed yet another Wolf requirement. He would then run off to get his
Wolf book. I believe it made certain aspects of school more exciting than it
would have been otherwise. The important part is parent involvement.
