Just got back from Philmont (again). Fantastic (again). No popsicles at
phillips Junction but good Fellowship.
A lady on the train remarked to me at breakfast that she was baffled and
saddened to see the Scout leaders (in Uniform) smoking on the train. (I was
not in uniform at the time and had my son with me who was in uniform. We
were eating breakfast at the time) I could only say that it was recommended
policy to not smoke in uniform.
So for those of you who do smoke just note that non BSA people take notice
of your actions. (What about the youth that look up to you?)
I used to smoke for 15 years. Been smoke free for 10.
