Computer help

Jan Mussler (mussler@SPOT.COLORADO.EDU)

Since traffic has been light, perhaps I could squeeze in a computer
question. Could someone help me figure out how to set up Netscape on my
PC? I want to visit Barb Stephens Pack 114 web site in the worst way.
Right now, I can access Lynx throught the spot server, but it's not
graphical. I have obtained software throught the University (Netscape,
QVT-something and some other things) and installed the software as per the
instruction sheet, but I didn't know how to "make them all work together"
as in where to put them on the PC. And I don't understand their
relationship with each other. I have both a SHARE account (which is what
I've continued to use) and a SLIP account (which I suspect is what I'll
need to use). I don't know how to make the Netscape call the University
server (i.e my spot account).

Can anyone help me with this? Evidently, this isn't the easiest thing to
do since my computer literate friend with a Mac just laughed and laughed
when I told him what I wanted to do... TIA

YIS,
