I've noticed, in introductions to the list recently, that there seem
to be more members from outside the USA. This is great! One of the
thing I enjoyed most about college was the opportunity to meet people
from all over the world.
Specifically, I'm looking for a contact in Switzerland. I've been
there twice and would love to take the Troop there in a few years.
I'm trying to determine the feasibility. The primary concern would be
housing.
I've lived in Kandersteg and Sachseln for short periods of time (three
weeks each, Kandersteg in 1987 and Sachseln in 1992) and am familiar
with the areas around the BLS Railway, the Brunig line, Spiez,
Interlaken, Meiringen, the Hasliberg, the Murren Valley, and Luzern.
Is there anyone out there who can help?
