Haliburton Bound

Dave Hultberg (dave.hultberg@PAONLINE.COM)

I am pleased to announce that a small contingent from Troop 196 is going
to be traveling from central Pennsylvania for a week of fun at
Haliburton Scout Reserve in Ontario. We started out 2 years planning
for 2 van loads of Scouts and Scouters but we are now down to 1 van - 2
leaders and 4 or 5 boys. Since we have four boys who have who really
want to go we are going and plan to have a blast. I plan on bringing
back plenty of pictures to show the other scouts what they missed. I
should mention that this trip is in addition to a week of summer camp at
our council camp.

We will be staying at Greater Niagara Frontier Council's Camp Stonehaven
both on the way up and the way back. (Just got the camping permits in
the mail today.) If any of you are near either Stonehaven or Haliburton
stop by for a visit. The coffee pot will be on as well as other
beverages for those who aren't into coffee. I'll also have a supply of
patches to trade. ;-)

Itinerary:
0900 01 AUG Depart Mechanicsburg PA
1700 01 AUG Arrive Stonehaven
02 AUG Sightseeing around Niagara Falls
0900 03 AUG Depart Stonehaven
1200 03 AUG Arrive HSR

1200 10 AUG Depart HSR
1600 10 AUG Arrive Stonehaven
0800 11 AUG Depart Stonehaven
1400 11 AUG Arrive Mechanicsburg

Yours in Scouting,

Dave
