Although I can't give you specific advice on your tent problem, I can
perhaps give a resourse to you. I have had a number of items fixed at
Wilderness Workshop by Pasadena Ca. They do sewing repairs on outdoor
equipment and clothing. I've also had my down bag and jacket cleaned there
and they do great job( Disclamer: I do not work for Wilderness Workshop nor
am I associated with them in any way. I just like the work they do). They
can be reached at 213-256-0723. They could advise you on the repair.
