adult leader updates

Just wanted to let the list know, that I haven't had an opportunity recently
to do much work on the Jambo97 homepage, but that I am now working on
updating it now with the recent hints (and discussions) and the additional
adult leaders and scouts on the who's who list. I'm also working on making
the first page, much smaller, so it will load quicker, as some of you have
requested. If I have your Jambo info, you don't need to send it to me again.
I save all of the incoming E-mail, the thousands of messages I receive a
month to my email address and from the scouts-l, j-scouts, lds-scouts, and
this list. I do want to apologize for the delay in updating the pages.

This spring I was teaching K-12 as a substitute teacher, everyday until the
end of May. As an ASM for a very active troop, COR for an active cub pack,
EA for a post, and Roundtable Commissioner, with four very active kids and a
wife (all involved in Scouting) there has not been many spare days,
evenings, or weekends, or much time to get everything done that I've wanted
to do.<g>

Then, the first two weeks of June, I was at our council's JLT Conference as
an Assistant Scoutmaster; the first week for setup and staff training, and
then the JLT Conference the following week. As we held it at a Girl Scout
Camp for the first time, it was pretty hectic. We did have a very successful
JLT, and everyone, including the staff learned and had a good time.

As soon as I returned from JLT, I began to set up my new law office
practice. Although I've been an attorney for 18 years, this is the first
time I've set up a separate office to handle paying (I hope <g>) clients. I
ran a family owned business up until a year ago. For those interested, my
E-Mail address for my law office is (this is meant to be informational, and
not advertisement!>:

I'm hoping to catch up soon, so keep up the Jambo discussions, and keep the
email coming! Thanks for your understanding and patience.
