"Funny" graces

Maybe I'm just an old fogie. I can't understand parents allowing their
children to watch TV shows that encourage disrespect to teachers,
adults, and parents (such as "Roseanne", "Simpsons", "Married With
Children", ad nauseum).
But it seems, in my old fogie mind, that funny graces for meals cross
the line between humor and disrespect. I firmly believe that God has a
wonderful sense of humor (after all, he's put up with humans for a
number of years now!), but rapping and "duh duh duh" in graces is too
much for me. If the leaders and Scouts involved are not offended, more
power to you, and I'm sure that God will read your message and I hope
not be offended. But I just hope I don't have to witness it at some
camp.
Just my humble opinion, and certainly not trying to judge someone
else's approach to God.
