Stan,
>What is the purpose of having monthly BoR if CoA are quarterly?
>We now have them immediately before the CoA
What is a CoA? A Court of Honor (Awards)? We have a scheduled BOR once a
month. Occassionally, I will arrange an additional one if the Scout won't
be able to attend the meeting of the scheduled board and a Court of Honor is
coming up. The Scout receives his badge at the very next troop meeting, but
waits for the quarterly Court of Honor to receive the card and "Parent" pin
and formal recognition. It helps to keep up interest and morale and
provides almost immediate recognition.
