New Subscriber, Self Introduction
(no name) ((no email))

I was asked by my local church to be a Scoutmaster about 2 months
ago and found out about Scouts-L on the internet. The
WELCOME.TXT file asks that new subscribers give a self
introduction. So here is mine.
My name is Chuck Johnson (e-mail JOHNSOCE@basf.com). I am
the new Scoutmaster of Troop 315, Tsungani District, Mecklenburg
County Council, in Charlotte, North Carolina. I was an Eagle Scout
growing up and I had a superb Scoutmaster (Lon Cook, Troop 430,
Del-Mar-Va Council). So I have an idea of the type of troop I want to
be involved with. I also have an idea of the type of influence a
Scoutmaster can have on the Scouts. Unfortunately, I don't have a
good idea of what it takes to be the kind of Scoutmaster that I had
as a youth. That's why I subscribed to Scouts-L. I don't think I'll have
much to say but I may ask some questions. I think I may have
stumbled onto a great source for Scouter training.
Thanks. Chuck.
