We have a policy on troop campouts that the dad does not help the boy. WE
normally have 3-4 adults on all campouts. One of us merely goes over and
tells dad that he is wanted somewhere else. We than take one of the jr
leaders(of which we have 3-4 on each campout) complete the activity. Dads
are not permitted to 'bunk' with thier sons. The only exception is an
injury. When we get the offending dad away from the scout, we explain troop
policy to them again. It has already been explained at the new parents
meeting. Sometimes, however, it needs to be reinforced
