Gentlemen:
If it is paronoid to want to protect our kids ----- so be it! Did any of
you watch the 'sting' report last night --- did any of you hear that it was
6-7-8-9 yr old BOYS that were abused and used for porno flicks?
This discussion saddens me. Scout leaders should have a priority of the
kids at all times. Do I care if local Joe system operator decides I can't
use HIS board? No. There are thousands of accounts, boards, etc. out there.
I would hate to be the one who turned the other way, and dropped the
thought, only to find out ---- yep that kid's been kidnapped and is dead.
We are here to make a safe space for a kid. If someone wants to call me a
freak caring so hard, who cares?
A boy's life is worth the risk. And --- it's such a small risk. If this
socalled Scouter REALLY wanted to help a kid out- he'd publish his info
through his council.
Better to be called a paranoid, than have to live with --- I could have helped.
