More Silly Songs!

CHUCK BRAMLET (chuckb@AZTEC.ASU.EDU)
Mon, 8 Apr 1996 23:33:27 -0700

With apologies to the purists amoung us, I thought I would post these
songs that I saw on a song sheet recently. The boys should love them,
and a lot of us leaders can relate to "Scout Wetspers".

---

Scout Wetspers Tune: Scout Vespers (Oh, Tannenbaum)

Softly falls the rain today As our campsite floats away. Silently, each Scout should ask "Did I bring my SCUBA mask? Have I tied my tent flaps down? Learned to swim, so I won't drown? Have I done, and will I try Everything to keep me dry?"

---

Road Kill Stew Tune: Three Blind Mice

Road Kill stew, Road Kill stew, Tases so good, Just like it should.

First you go down to the Interstate You wait for the critter to meet it's fate. You take it home and you make it great! Road Kill stew, Road Kill stew,

---

Commercial Mixup Tune: Farmer in the Dell (Anybody remember Homer and Jethro's "Billboard Song"?

Last night I watched TV. I saw my favorite show. I heard a strange commercial, I can't believe it's so.

Feed your dog chiffon. Comet cures a cold. Use SOS pads on your face To keep from looking old.

For headaches take some Certs. Use Tide to clean your face. And do shampoo with Elmer's Glue, It holds your hair in place.

Perhaps I am comfused. I might not have it right. But one thing I am certain of, I'll surf TV tonight!

---

Enjoy! :)

YiS,

Chuck Bramlet, ASM Troop 323 Thunderbird District, Grand Canyon Council, Phoenix, Az.
