A couple of scouts have mentions to me their interest in creating a Web page
for our troop. I too am interested in creating a troop web site. However,
the troop really isn't in a position to pay a lot for a a provider.
I know their are several web sites for troops just in massachusetts, and I
have looked at several of those that were listed at USSCOUTS web page. I was
interested if anyone knows of any providers in the massachusetts area that
offers no-cost or low cost web sites for "non-profit" or community oriented
organizations such as Boy Scouts. All we need is the web space. Both the SM
and three of the ASM all have e-mail addresses through their employers.
I have already spoke with my employer (Comm of Mass), and they cannot spend
the tax dollars to provide the service.
any ideas. I am waiting on netcom right now. They offer a small space for
individual accounts, of which I have for home use.
Along the same lines, how much space is the average web page? So that I can
approximate how much extra it might cost to put the troop page on my home
account.
Thanks to All
