Bruce, the case I was referring to is the Welsh case, and he did state
publicly on another discussion list that he thought he could have all
references to God removed from Scouting. It became obvious from our
discussions with him that he did coach his sons, and that he was in fact
working an agenda other than getting his kids into Scouts.
I am merely trying to caution people about implying that BSA has an
intent to discriminate against atheists by stating common misperceptions
about the cases and the reasons they were brought.
It is not my intent to get into a debate about these topics.
