New Eagles

'm very pleased to announce two new Eagle Scouts in the Cradle
of Liberty Council (CLC). The first is a special Scout in our
troop, Frankie. Frankie and his dad have been with us for many years
and both have worked very hard for this award. Frankie has some
learning disabilities and even though ours is not a special troop for
LD Scouts, Frankie is our second LD Scout who has reached this
pinnacle. Frankie has a number of gifts. He has a fantastic recollection
of music and artists. Just name any song and he can tell you who
sings it. This talent came in very handy on some of our hikes to help
pass the time. He is also a BIG Phila. Phillies fan. (Hear that Bill Giles,
Pres. of CLC and of the Phillies).
Our second Eagle is my own son Andrew who passed his BOR earlier
this week. His mother is very proud and also relieved that he made it.
I'm also proud too as Andrew is a 2nd generation Eagle. Andrew's
school recently installed a new e-mail service and I'm sure he'd be
thrilled to receive a few congratulatory messages. His e-mail address

Mike Walton - Thanks for all of the EagleTips. I've been putting them
to use and they have been very helpful.
