Info is still scanty....
NEWS FLASH: I believe I heard that Commerce Secretary Ron Brown was
traveling with corporate executives in the Croatia area...the plane he was
believed to be in is reported as possibly having gone down in water. It was
a US Airforce plane that has been missing for several hours; then wreckage
was spotted in a body of water.
There was a crew of 8 and 26 passagers. It hasn't been determined
positively whether Brown was on board, or if there were any survivors.
It's not believed that hostile action caused the crash...the cause is
believed to mechanical.
President Clinton has cancelled speeches.
