This magazine is put out by the publishers of Backpacker magazine. I am
sure that it is of great value to some people in the Scouting community.
It is also worthwhile to look at magazines like Backpacker because they
give truthful reviews of different pieces of equiptment, and every March
they come out with a Buyers guide, (which helped me with deciding what
tent to get, Northface Starlight extreme).
Rodale press is also one of the supporters of the TV show Trailside, Make
your own adventrue, hosted by the editor of Backpacker Magazine.
