Having 10 - 14 Scouts in a patrol, often results in 8 or 9 at an activity.
You than don't have to combine patrols to compete, cook, etc. It makes a lot
of sense....and keeps patrol identity and spirit. It certainly works well for
our Troop. stan frager, SM Troop 30, Louisville, Ky.
