Correct me if I'm wrong (don't have a current Q Award sheet in front of me) but
attendance at a Boy Scout camp has never been required for the Q Award. A long
term
camp is a long term camp, and if conducted as a Scout activity, it is good to go
for
this Commissioner. Let me check my personal Scout-rule book here...(1) Is it saf
e? (2)
Is it legal? (3) Is it moral? (4) Is it within BSA policy? Seems all of these w
ere met
by the "unofficial" camp. Good to go! (As I put on the asbestos underwear for t
he
hardliner falme ;-))
