I didn't post any misconceptions. All I said was that there was "an atheist
who wanted his son to be a Tiger Cub". That's the truth. You supplied more

Again, you're reading too much into what I wrote. I think the BSA's
position is that atheistic youth can't be Scouts. Please correct me if I'm
wrong.

Having said the above, let me make it clear that I'm NOT interested in a
discussion of any of the G's. I used to subscribe to a Scouting forum on
Compuserve that got VERY involved in this particular lawsuit (the parent in
question, Elliott Welsh, was an active contributor), and I frankly saw more
than I ever cared to see. I escaped that forum because life is too short to
get buried in the hate and hyperbole that flew about on BOTH sides of the
issue. I would not want to see the same thing here.
