Careers in Scouting

Hello.

Please forgive me if this is not the place for these questions, but I believe
it is.

I am considering a change in careers. I would like to solicit someone with
experience in an environmental related career for conversation. I am not
ready to submit a resume or be involved in an interview. In fact, I am not
sure that I want to go into the environmental sector. I do know that I am
interested in this area of expertise and that I want to learn more about the
scouting field "in general".

So, if you feel so inclined to "mentor" a 30 year old who is currently a
supervisor in the credit card industry and a husband and father of two,
please respond and I will start by asking you a few general questions such
as: What do you do? What got you into this field? What do you like about it?
What do you hate about it? Etc.

If you know of another list where I might find my answers, please respond as
well.
