I've finally caught up with all my digest files....
In response to the thread about uniform inspections, when I was a
Unit Commissioner (back in 06...:->) I used the official inspection
forms (I made sure I had enough :->) and started with the Senior
Patrol Leader. Then I would give him the forms and shadow him as
he inspected the Troop. I would only step in if he had questions, and
then I tried to answer along the lines of, "What do *you* think?"
I took over again when we got to the adults so no one would be
hurt at being embarassed by a youth. This worked well and complied
with the "boy run" concept.
Just a thought.
