Announcing a Web home for "A Guide to Conducting Boards of Review"

Ray Klaus (KLAUS@EDSUG.COM)
Thu, 28 Mar 1996 11:25:14 -0700

Once, again a big **THANK YOU** to all of you who sent e-mail messages with
offers of space for my "Guide".

Special thanks to Gary Hendra, The MacScouter; Gary has installed the "Guide"
on the MacScouter page (currently there is a link from the "New on the
MacScouter Web Site:" on the MacScouter Homepage to the "Guide").

Every Scouter on the web should have a link or bookmark to the MacScouter
homepage it is a tremendous resource with loads of great stuff. The MacScouter
homepage is located at:

http://www.macscouter.com/

The exact location of "A Guide to Conducting Boards of Reveiw" is:

http://www.macscouter.com/Scoutmaster/BoR/index.html

If you need a hardcopy of the "Guide", I encourage you to print it from your
browser.

Suggestions or corrections to the "Guide" are welcome and should be addressed
to me at: klaus@ug.eds.com

Please remember that there is no precise or exact science to conducting boards
of review. The "Guide" is a distillation of my own experience and that of many
Scouters within Saddleback District and Orange County Council. There are
other ways of conducting boards that are very appropriate. I hope that you can
find information and material within the "Guide" which is useful for your unit.
You should feel free to modify or improve the procedures or questions to fit
your own practices and environment.

Yours in Scouting,

Ray Klaus

& Assistant Scoutmaster, Troop 1602
