As a Webelos Den Leader, I'm always looking for SM's like you,
willing to have my boys visit, but not upset if they don't join.

Last September, I made arrangements for my boys to do an overnight
family camp with a Troop from a *nearby community*. Everyone had a
great time and the SM was excited about having us there. That really
makes a difference. Now. . . nobody expects my boys to cross over to
that Troop, but they had a good experience with Boy Scouts and will
realize that there are other ways of doing things if they join a
Troop that isn't like this one. Note: I'm still trying to make
arrangements to camp/hike with other Troops and hope to be able to
offer at least two more events before we graduate next year. And
yes, one of the Troops I'm attempting to get together with shares
our Charter Organization.

This year our two graduating Webelos Dens sent boys to three Troops.
It was the first time our Pack had done this so I was cautious, but
all three Troops were at the graduation ceremony and everyone got
along just great!
